Memotale is a personalized storybook service that turns your most cherished memories into beautifully illustrated books. It's the perfect gift for you and your loved ones.

That's no simple answer - it's a mix between you, Memotale's story telling elves, and advanced technologies. You provide us with the outline of the story and the pictures that will guide our illustrations and we take it from there.

Unlike a photo album, Memotale tells your story like a fairytale, complete with characters, emotions, and custom illustrations — it’s not about preserving images, but capturing the feeling behind them.

1. You pick a story and an illustration style and submit your order

2. You receive confirmation of your order along with a link to the form which you'll need to fill out to help us put together the story. Hint: your order is only finalized once you've submitted the from

3. You fill out the form (approx. 20-30 mins) and upload photos of the characters in your story; these will guide our illustrations.

4. Our elves write and illustrate your book

5. A human from the Memotale team proofreads the work of the elves, just to make sure the story is as compelling as you'd want.

6. We print and ship your book to your doorstep.

7. You open the package and get overwhelmed by how great your Memotale storybook turned out to be.

You'll need to fill out a form that is different for each storyline.
For example, for the 'Our Dog's Story' you'll be asked questions like "What is one thing your dog has overcome that you're proud of?" The form of the 'How We Met' book will ask you to "Describe something special about each of you."

Filling out a form will take about 30-40 minutes of your time, and the more detailed answers you give, the more accurate our tales will be.

Lastly, the forms will ask you to upload photos of the relevant characters in the story. These will help us make the illustrations as personalized as possible.

They arguably couldn't be more personalized. Our elves craft each book' story and illustrations based only on your answers that you sent to us via the form.
We do not use templates. Your book will feel like it was written just for you - because it was.

In order to get your orders to you as efficiently as possible, we do not provide previews. But worry not! If there's anything wrong with the pictures or answers you submitted we will let you know in advance. And on the off chance, should you not like the final result, we will surely find a way to make up for the mistake.

It takes us approximately 10-14 days to deliver your order to your doorstep. We take pride in the quality of Memotale books, which is the reason behind our shipping time.

1.) Photo is taken in a well lit area. Ideally without a filter and in natural lighting.

2.) We like closeups as well as full body portraits, as these allow us to make our illustrations really capture the person in question.

3.) Avoid dark and blurry pictures if possible.

Unfortunately we can't offer returns, because the book we send to you has entirely been personalized for you. But, in the unlikely event that you'd be unhappy with a Memotale book, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, and we will surely find a way to turn your frown upside down.
